In 2017, “Der Konditormeister” – a life-sized dwarf sculpture – was ceremoniously unveiled in front of the Jindrak café on Pöstlingberg.
The figure was created by sculptor Konrad Feichtinger from Traunkirchen, while its mischievous expression was designed by Marissa Young Lee, who travelled all the way from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago for this project. This collaboration resulted in a charming little figure with an unmistakable character. The sculpture was inspired by “Der Küchenjunge” – the beloved dwarf from Linz’s famous Grottenbahn.
