It’s best enjoyed with coffee – or given as a gift, attractively packaged, as a souvenir or corporate gift. Even though Jindrak, the home of the Original Linzer Torte, now bakes over 100,000 cakes a year, we rely on old recipes and the best ingredients such as fresh eggs and butter from Austria. Each cake is made with loving care. See for yourself!

Linzer Torte!
Experience a very special baking experience: In the show bakery of Konditorei Jindrak you have the opportunity to bake your own Original Linzer Torte. We will reveal the secrets of the recipe, you will get tips and tricks directly from the master confectioner and immerse yourself in the world of the confectionery trade. Of course, you can take your self-baked Linzer Torte – nicely packed in a gift box – home with you. And as a souvenir, you even get a personal baking diploma!

Price per person: €27 (for special dates €33)
Duration of the Demonstration
Please allow around two hours for your personal Linzer Torte experience: The demonstration lasts about one hour – afterwards you have another hour of baking time, while your Original Linzer Torte is baked golden brown in the oven. Of course, you can take your personal baking diploma home with you at the end.
In the meantime, you can treat yourself to a cup of coffee and a piece of cake in our café or take a leisurely stroll through the historic old town of Linz.
